PARIS – French fashion conglomerate Kering, which owns brands including Gucci, Saint Laurent and Alexander McQueen, is pledging to cuts its absolute greenhouse gas emissions by 40% by 2035, against a 2021 baseline.

The commitment includes its global supply chain, Scope 3, where the bulk of emissions occur, as well as Scope 1, its own operations, and Scope 2, indirect emissions associated with the purchase of electricity.
