LONDON - International NGO, the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) has released data claiming that fashion brands are failing to protect workers following Myanmar’s military coup.

The BHRRC said it documented 105 labour and human rights violations in the country’s garment sector between February and July 2023, suggesting that workers in Myanmar are facing increasing infringements of their rights and that fashion brands sourcing from the country are still failing to protect workers in this high-risk area of their supply chains.
