MADRID - Greenpeace is questioning the validity of clothing take-back schemes after placing geolocator trackers in 29 pieces of used clothing and finding only one has so far been re-used.

The Spanish arm of the environmental campaign group placed trackers in garments returned to municipal containers and also take-back bins in Zara and Mango stores.
