Wrangler and Lee owner to buy Helly Hansen for $900 million

Kontoor brands, which was spun out of VF Corporation in 2019, and runs the iconic Wrangler and Lee denim brands has agreed to pay around $900 million for Helly Hansen from Canadian Tire Corporation.

Greensboro-based Kontoor expects Helly Hansen to generate more than $680 million of revenue and $80 million of adjusted EBITDA for full year 2025, and comes on the back of better than expected Q4 results.
