Finnish research project says textile recycling offers huge economic potential if technical and regulatory challenges are overcome
HELSINKI - Textile recycling could become a billion dollar business with the potential for hundreds of industrial scale plants across Europe, according to a new report.
The study, from the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, says recycling technology is advancing rapidly, but a lack of regulatory and technical challenges are hindering a real breakthrough.
