Danish fashion giant backs German startup’s bid to recycle textile and packaging waste into virgin quality polyester

BRANDE – Danish fashion retailer Bestseller is investing in German innovator Matterr's bid to regenerate polyester from hard-to-recycle worn-out textiles and packaging waste.

Bestseller says its partnership with Matterr - which follows a €30 million European Union grant in the startup - is part of its ongoing investment in the development of future materials.
