ACCRA - Global fashion brands are accused of effectively abandoning workers at the world's biggest secondhand clothing market after it was partially destroyed in a horrific fire on New Year's Day.

The Or Foundation says many brands either refused to contribute or hid behind narrow definitions of their official supply chains to justify inaction, despite the market’s critical role in absorbing and recirculating their cast-off clothing.
