New project aims to boost circular elastane options

Fashion for Good initiative plans to validate bio-based and recycled elastane solutions through pilot-scale testing and demonstrator garments

AMSTERDAM – Fashion for Good has launched a new project with several major brands designed to accelerate the adoption of lower-impact elastane alternatives compatible with circular textile systems.

Titled ‘Stretching Circularity’, the initiative brings together a consortium of stakeholders across the fashion and textile supply chain, including Fashion for Good partners Levi’s and its Beyond Yoga brand, On, Paradise Textiles, Positive Materials, and Reformation, with Ralph Lauren Corporation as an advisor.
