New York opens sustainable textile grants

The New York Fashion Innovation Center (NYFIC) has opened applications for the fourth round of its $10,000 grant programme supporting sustainable textile innovation across the US state.

Backed by Empire State Development’s NYSTAR division, the initiative targets farmers, researchers, manufacturers and designers using fibres and materials grown, processed or made in New York state to strengthen an end-to-end, lower-impact supply chain.
