Rehubs is seeking industry input on barriers to scaling textile-to-textile recycling as it helps shape the conference programme for Textiles Recycling Expo 2027 in Brussels.
The alliance has renewed its role as structural partner for a third consecutive year and is inviting research, technologies, case studies and practical solutions.
“Europe has made significant progress in developing textile recycling technologies, but innovation alone will not deliver circularity at scale,” said Béatrice Moureaux, chief executive of Rehubs.
Moureaux said economic and structural barriers were preventing recycling technologies from becoming commercially viable, highlighting the need for collaboration across the textile value chain.
The free-to-attend exhibition and conference takes place on 16th and 17th June 2027, bringing together recyclers, brands, manufacturers, policymakers and investors.
Rehubs aims to recycle 2.7 million tonnes of textile waste in Europe by 2035, connecting collection, sorting, recycling and manufacturing businesses with brands to increase the adoption of recycled fibres
