Circular.fashion updates its Circular Design Standard as Brussels finalises textile ecodesign rules and Digital Product Passport pilots ramp up

BERLIN — The Circular.fashion design and standards specialist has released version 6.0 of its Circular Design Standard (CDS), pitching it as a ready‑to‑use criteria set for upcoming EU textile ecodesign and circularity legislation.

The update translates more than six years of cross‑industry collaboration into over 400 fibre‑ and product‑specific requirements aimed at making recyclability, durability and repairability measurable in practice.
