Carbonfact has launched 300-plus disaggregated LCA datasets for textile processes to make fibre, dye and technology impacts more transparent and auditable

PARIS – Environmental data platform for apparel and footwear Carbonfact has released over 300 fully disaggregated, free-to-use LCA datasets for spinning, dyeing, weaving, and knitting.

It says the release addresses a long-standing problem with LCA data for textiles by differentiating by fibre type, dye and process technology rather than a single category average.
