Levi Strauss & Co. has filed its third trademark lawsuit of 2026, this time suing the operators of Brazilian fashion brand Farm Rio, alleging infringement and dilution of its iconic clothing tab trademark.
The complaint, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, names three defendants: Brazilian fashion companies AZZAS 2154 S.A. and Grupo de Moda Soma S.A., along with Swiss-based Soma Brands International GmbH – the entities that collectively operate the Farm Rio brand.
