Interview: Electrospun TPU membrane offers breathable alternative

SINGAPORE – Ecotextile News sits down with Niber Technologies president Richard Beck, as the company scales up its PFAS-free electrospun TPU membrane platform for outdoor, sports and technical textile applications.

The company markets its PFAS-free electrospun polyurethane membrane platform as a microporous, lightweight and stretchable alternative for fluorine-free waterproof-breathable constructions, supplying the membranes as stand-alone films or incorporating them into finished laminates.
