DHAKA – The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has teamed up with digital wellbeing assistant Maya, to provide a platform for garment workers to seek both general and mental health support amidst the pandemic.
Maya, which calls upon a team of licensed doctors and mental health counsellors, says it will cover all costs for these services, and that those in need will be able to get in touch via the app, by SMS messaging or video call.
