WELLINGTON - New Zealand's clothing and textile industry has launched a new organisation which aims to increase the proportion of recycling in the sector.
The Textile Product Stewardship Project sits within the Textile Reuse Programme which was established in 2016 in a shared commitment to a circular economy for clothing in New Zealand.
It aims to improve how clothes are brought to market and managed at end-of-life by driving large scale, collaborative projects to create new technologies and solutions.
