LONDON – A new report from the Planet Tracker think-tank quotes our own ‘Busting Myths’ investigation to accuse fashion companies of using “zombie data” to promote products and services as sustainable.

Busting Myths exploded some of the more widely-quoted figures on the environmental impact of the textiles industry back in the December 2019 / January 2020 issue of our Ecotextile News magazine.

Planet Tracker is now accusing the fashion industry of risking reputational damage and an investor backlash by relying on data that lacks credibility to promote their sustainability credentials.
