Secondhand market ‘still growing’ – ThredUp

OAKLAND – The secondhand clothing market is continuing to expand, according to the 12th annual Resale Report from the ThredUp online resale platform which noted a 31% year-on-year growth last year.

However, profits remain elusive with ThredUp’s own most recent financial figures revealing a net loss for 2023 of $71.2 million, even though revenues were up 12% to $322 million.
