A class action lawsuit in the US is accusing Gore-Tex of ‘greenwashing’ its sustainability claims

The allegedly misleading claims are said to be violations of the Federal Trade Commission’s Green Guides

Outerwear brand Gore-Tex is facing a proposed class action lawsuit that alleges it has deceptively “greenwashed” its purported commitment to sustainability.

The 138-page Tex lawsuit against W.L. Gore & Associates, the maker of Gore-Tex fabric, says that the company, has offered “not much more than empty environmental promises” via misleading advertising.
