Biomaterials company Keel Labs has partnered with H&M for a seaweed-based beachwear collection

The collection blends seaweed fibre with organic cotton

& Other Stories, part of the H&M Group, has partnered with Keel Labs, formerly known as AlgiKnit, to use Kelsun, its plastic-free seaweed fibre, in a new summer collection.

Kelsun’s kelp-based fibre, which is described as one of the world’s most regenerative and renewable organisms, is designed to offer an alternative to conventional, resource-intensive materials.
