Vaude voluntarily adopts EU sustainability standard

The company says it is being proactive and deliberately counterbalancing the current political discussion around the EU’s omnibus procedure

Vaude is is proactively preparing for the requirements of the CSRD.

TETTNANG – Outdoor brand Vaude says it has adopted the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) even though there is no legal requirement to do so.

In its latest annual report, the company says it’s taking this step at a time when the weakening of sustainability regulations is being discussed at EU level.
