American retailer admits supply chain emissions are not falling “as quickly as we need to meet our aggressive targets”

MINNEAPOLIS – US retailer Target’s supply chain emissions in 2024 were 5.6% lower than its 2017 baseline, but down by just 0.3% from 2023, the company has revealed in its latest Sustainability and Governance Report.

Target has committed to a 32.5% absolute reduction in its scope 3 emissions by 2030 from the 2017 base year.
