Advocacy groups say the mislabelling of winter clothing is becoming a repeated issue in South Korea
SEOUL – Consumer advocates in South Korea are pressing regulators to crack down on repeated mislabelling of down padding in winter jackets after The North Face Korea admitted that 13 products had incorrect labels regarding their filling blend ratios.
The issue surfaced after a jacket labelled “80% goose down, 20% feathers” on Korean fashion platforms showed up as using recycled goose and duck down in tests by government backed body Korea Consumer Agency.
