PARIS - Shein has quietly begun reopening its online marketplace in France after a Paris court rejected a government bid to suspend the platform over the sale of illegal and “childlike” sex dolls.

The move comes as the Chinese-owned ultra-fast fashion giant faces intensifying scrutiny of its product controls, sustainability claims and expansion into French bricks-and-mortar retail.
