Ultra fast fashion company says it has so far deployed more than $42 million on improvements to factories in its supply chain

SINGAPORE - Ultra fast fashion giant Shein is claiming progress under its Supplier Community Empowerment Program (SCEP), a multi‑year support scheme for its suppliers launched in 2023.

The Chinese-owned online retailer says it has now deployed more than $42 million under SCEP by the end of 2025, out of a previously announced $70 million commitment through to 2028.
