Digital thrift store on gaming platform is designed to introduce secondhand fashion to Gen Z and Gen Alpha players

ALEXANDRIA - The Salvation Army has launched what it claims is the world’s first digital thrift store on gaming platform Roblox in a bid to introduce secondhand fashion and its charitable mission to Gen Z and Gen Alpha players.

Branded 'Thrift Score', the experience recreates a Salvation Army thrift store as a fully explorable and shoppable 3D environment, stocked with creator and brand collaborations, player 'donations' and digital replicas of real-world Salvation Army items.
