Boohoo fined over missing eco data

French regulators have penalised Boohoo after finding environmental information absent from thousands of textile product listings

PARIS — The French consumer watchdog has fined UK fast fashion giant Boohoo €224,950 ($265,000) for failing to provide mandatory environmental information on clothing sold to French consumers.

The Directorate-General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) said its National Investigation Department examined Boohoo product listings during a 2025 investigation.
