1,400 industry stakeholders converge on Lisbon for industry event where CEO Claire Bergkamp gives stark assessment of sector’s challenges

LISBON - Textile Exchange CEO Claire Bergkamp has opened the industry body's annual conference here in Lisbon with a stark assessment of the sector’s environmental challenges, urging accelerated action and deeper collaboration.

She started by grounding delegates in the organisation’s recent Materials Market Report, which she said provided "a real sense check of how we're doing in the industry", as well as "the scale of the challenge and the foundation that we already have to build on".
