STOCKHOLM – Swedish textile waste to cellulosic pulp pioneer Circulose has told Ecotextile News it expects to resume production at its Swedish facility in the second half of next year, while at the same time withdrawing its pulp from the open market.

Instead, Circulose plans to shift its business model so that Circulose pulp is only available to brands with which it has direct partnerships. “Only brands with ambitions to adopt circular materials at scale over the coming years will be able to become partners,” Circulose CEO Jonatan Janmark told Ecotextile News.
