Coalition demands UK supply chain law

Businesses, unions and campaigners have urged the UK prime minister to introduce mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence legislation covering companies’ operations and global value chains.

The Ethical Trading Initiative and Corporate Justice Coalition coordinated the open letter, backed by 33 signatories, including 20 businesses, calling for legislation during this parliamentary session.
