ISTANBUL – German-based denim technology business, Vav Technology, has launched two new robotic devices which are aimed at enabling the denim industry to achieve natural and worn effects while avoiding the associated health and safety risks to workers. The first, a robotic arm scraping robot, is designed to achieve natural worn looks, while the second, a spray robot, is used for lighting denim with potassium permanganate – a traditionally manual process which can be highly detrimental to human health.
