ESPOO - The VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland has received another funding boost to improve wood-to-textile value chains, enabling increased production of man-made cellulose fibres.
The VTT-coordinated project, known as the Green Chemicals and Technologies for the Wood-to-textile Value Chain (GRETE), has been granted €2.6 million by the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking, a partnership between the EU and the Bio-based Industries Consortium.
