BUCHAREST – Romanian secondhand luxury fashion marketplace Dressingz has secured a €300,000 (US$330,000) investment and will launch a second seed funding round to support expansion plans across Europe.
The company’s platform enables consumer-to-consumer sales of luxury fashion items, and was launched to encourage circularity and mitigate clothing waste.
Romina Tazlaoanu, the founder of Dressingz, commented: “The equivalent of one truck full of textiles is landfilled or burnt every second, in the world! In this context, fashion circularity becomes the future.”
