GLAND – Swedish fashion retailer H&M and homeware giant IKEA contributed to a new report from the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) which aims to spur corporate action to mitigate climate change.

Entitled ‘Beyond Net-Zero’, the report lists seven actions it says that businesses need to take to halve carbon emissions by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050 – the targets needed to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement.

“In an effort to scale up climate action and support companies in their net-zero plans, WWF has developed guidance on what ambitious, credible corporate climate leadership looks like,” says the report.
