BEAVERTON – Sportswear giant Nike has launched the Re-Creation programme, a new service through which it will restore vintage and deadstock pieces to promote the circular economy.

To start with, the brand will clean and repair three hoodie and crew jumper silhouettes, ensuring they’re more durable before they’re resold to secondhand fashion lovers.

John Hoke, Nike’s chief design officer, said: “Nike Re-Creation highlights an exciting moment of experimentation and progression. The programme exemplifies Nike’s collaborative spirit, bringing together experts in design, retail, supply chain and sustainability to strategise and learn.”
