WOLLASTON – Footwear brand Dr Martens has launched a new repair and resale service, called ReSouled, in collaboration with secondhand fashion marketplace Depop and the Boot Repair Company.

Kenny Wilson, the firm’s chief executive officer, told The Guardian that secondhand sales could account for up to 15 per cent of its sales in a decade’s time.

“This is part of something really important for the business longer term. Our incredible strength is the durability of the product. I can own a pair for seven or eight years and they are still perfectly good for someone else who wants to buy them,” he said.
