Unions launch manifesto for textile and garment workers

PARIS - A new union‑led manifesto for the textile and garment supply chain is challenging fashion’s sustainability agenda by insisting that decarbonisation and circularity must come with binding guarantees on workers' pay and conditions.

Published this week by the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) and IndustriALL, the 'Just Transition Manifesto' will be officially launched on 10th February at the OECD Forum on Due Diligence in the Garment and Footwear Sector in Paris.
