RegioGreenTex wraps up three years of work claiming to show how Europe’s push for circular textiles can move from policy talk to factory‑floor reality

BRUSSELS - The European Union (EU) backed RegioGreenTex project has concluded after three years with 25 SME‑driven pilots moving from lab to near‑market, five regional recycling hubs, and new recycling and reuse routes.

RegioGreenTex brought together 43 partners from 11 regions in eight countries to test how regional hubs, shared data and digital tools could accelerate textile‑to‑textile recycling at scale.
