Court dismisses Lululemon ‘greenwashing’ case

A court in Florida, USA, has granted activewear brand Lululemon a motion to dismiss a class action lawsuit claiming it misled consumers into thinking its products were environmentally friendly.

The judge ruled that the plaintiffs “lacked standing” to their claims as they failed to adequately link Lululemon’s environmental statements to any economic injury.
