North Face owner reveals 2024 supply chain emissions were up on 2017 but down on 2023, while worker welfare programme hit targets early

DENVER – VF Corporation, which owns brands including Timberland, Vans and North Face, has revealed its supply chain emissions are still 19% above its 2017 baseline in its latest sustainability report.

However, scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, which account for the bulk of its carbon footprint, in 2024 were down slightly - by 7% - on the previous year due to lower production volumes and greater use of preferred and regenerative materials.
