The pre-cursor fluorotelomer alcohols which are found in C6 chemistry indicate more severe endocrine disruptors than those in C8 chemistry – that’s one of the findings, also supported by earlier research, of ongoing Swedish research into textile industry efforts to develop more environmentally benign substitutes for fluorinated chemicals.
