Planet Textiles will once again provide the opportunity to collaborate and work towards driving collective action, change and progress within the sector and will explore the following key themes: Collective action on climate change; the data of sustainability; decent work for all; the nature of sustainable fashion; and changing legislative landscapes.

Organised by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, and run in partnership with MCL News and Media, publisher of Ecotextile News, the 11th edition Planet Textiles will for the first time take place over two days from 12th – 13th June at ITMA 2023, the world’s largest international textile and garment technology exhibition, inside the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre in Milan, Italy.

The two-day event will bring together textile and apparel organisations, industry leaders and stakeholders with a commitment to drive sustainability improvements throughout global supply chains.

“As usual, Planet Textiles will bring together brands, retailers, NGOs and textile suppliers to figure out the most sustainable way forward for our industry in a rapidly changing legislative landscape that’s going to shake-up the whole textile sector,” said John Mowbray, founder of both Planet Textiles and Ecotextile News.

“If you are serious about finding a way for your brand, retail outfit, or textile company to stay competitive while implementing new, mandated environmental solutions, then you need to be at this event – because this is where you will find all the key solutions to tomorrow’s way of doing business.”
