AMSTERDAM – The Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA) initiative’s work to expand organic cotton farming practices in South Asia took a major step forward in August with the coming together of key industry stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and barriers faced by the industry in Pakistan.
The meeting attracted a range of participants, including representatives from brands, local farm groups, NGOs such as Lok Sanjh, CABI CWA, Sawie, Reeds and WWF- Pakistan, as well as individuals from textile manufacturers, seed companies, and procurement agencies.
