More than 130 brands have now signed up to the Pakistan Accord which has so far staged safety inspections at 185 factories

KARACHI – More than 130 brands have now signed up for the Pakistan Accord which was set up in 2023 by the International Accord as its first legally binding factory safety programme outside Bangladesh.

It comes as the Pakistan Accord posted a progress report revealing it had now made fire, electrical and structural safety inspections at 185 garment and textile factories across Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad.
