ZDHC tools ‘reduce nature impacts by up to 96%’

Study highlights use of ZDHC’s MRSL and other tools – but is based on case studies of only seven textile facilities

AMSTERDAM - Proactive chemical management in the textile, leather and footwear sectors can cut nature-related pollution by up to 80-96%, according to a new report.

The study, from the ZDHC Foundation in partnership with Quantis, highlights the use of the ZDHC’s Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL), Wastewater Guidelines and Air Emissions Guidelines for reducing environmental and human health risks.
