First of its kind investigation in Spain identifies startling array of potentially harmful substances in screened infant clothing
GRANADA - Scientists in Spain identified 303 different chemicals — including pesticides, pharmaceuticals and toxic metals — in an analysis of 43 infant garments for a new investigation.
Published in the journal Environmental Research, the research is the first to comprehensively screen baby clothing for all detectable chemicals, rather than focusing on a narrow set of known toxins.
