Negotiations aim to renew the second national programme set up by the International Accord garment and textile worker safety initiative
KARACHI - Talks are underway to extend the ground-breaking Pakistan Accord, the landmark agreement committed to making garment and textile factories safer for workers across Pakistan, which would otherwise expire next year.
The ongoing negotiations were confirmed in a briefing from the accord to suppliers of the workplace safety agreement's signatory brands who were urged to increase momentum on safety improvements.
