LONDON – The British luxury house has unveiled a new three-part documentary series, Expedition with Burberry, created in partnership with Chinese National Geography magazine – a publication rooted in China’s state academic system – just weeks after pushing its net zero deadline back by ten years.

Burberry’s market dependence on China has intensified in recent periods. Multiple company statements have highlighted that recovery in its Greater China business – particularly among Gen Z consumers – has been central to its return to profitability.
