SPONSORED CONTENT - The largest event for technical textiles, nonwovens, machinery, sewn products and equipment in the Americas returns to Atlanta, May 12-14, 2020.

The themes for the 2020 editions are ‘Converging Technologies’ and ‘Igniting Progress’, emphasising the events’ reputations as catalysts for modern textile manufacturing. Each show’s features will highlight the important contributions of product and process innovators to moving the industry forward.

Techtextil North America assembles industry and academic experts in a collaborative business environment to stimulate industry advancement through material science and engineering, while Texprocess Americas highlights advanced machinery, equipment and information technology to promote efficiency and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

The two-in-one event creates a unique platform representing the entire global textile value chain – from high-tech textile products and fibres, functional apparel fabrics, smart textiles, composites, and nonwovens, to the technologies involved in the processing of textiles, including design, cutting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, finishing, refining, IT and logistics. At what has become one of the most sought after trade events for the textiles industry, visitors will have access to a vast array of products, technologies and solutions across verticals including fashion and apparel, interior design and upholstery, military and protective products, automotive and aerospace, medical and more.

Educational Symposiums

Each show will include a concurrent Symposium, providing visitors the opportunity to learn from industry thought leaders and subject matter experts as they discuss some of the most pivotal advancements in research and technology and shed light on the current global economic state and its effects across industries.

Techtextil North America will feature three days of sessions with topics covering military textiles, nonwovens, high performance fibres, smart textiles, materials informatics, the circular economy, 3-D printing and more.

The Texprocess Americas Symposium will include sessions on automation and robotics, the sustainable supply chain, cutting and sewing, on-demand manufacturing, tariffs and trade, with more details to be announced in the coming months.
