Company is being sued for ‘knowingly’ polluted rivers and the air with so-called forever chemicals in rural Maryland
ANNAPOLIS - WL Gore and Associates is facing two law suits alleging that its facilities in Cecil County, Maryland, poisoned drinking water with PFAS substances used to make its Gore-Tex waterproof fabric membrane.
A class action lawsuit has been filed by two law firms representing residents who claim to have suffered ill health as a result of the pollution, while the state of Maryland is also suing the company.
